Map 07.06 Aircraft Noise Protection Areas (Edition 2016)
7.06 Aircraft Noise Protection Areas

Explanations and Imprint of the Map

The mean noice load of a place is defined by means of a continous sound level. The value of the continous sound level is measured in decibels (dB). The mean value is determined by the frequency of occurence, duration and strength of the individual sound events. The ascertainment of the continous sound is an attempt to arrive at an objective measur of the continous noice level around noise emitters.
