Archive: The Capital City of Berlin - DocumentationDiscovering the New Centre - A Walking Tour![]() The Spreeufer Promenade and the park Forum am Bundeskanzleramt The stroll leads through the politically tinged urban landscape of Berlin. The approximately 8-kilometre-long route connects the scenes of politics which were newly designed as part of the "Development Measure for the Capital City of Berlin – Parliamentary and Government Quarter". The tour begins at Bellevue Palace, leading along the course of the river to the Spreebogen past the Reichstag building to Pariser Platz. Further stations on the sightseeing tour are the Ministergärten, Hausvogteiplatz, Werderscher Markt and the Spreeinsel. Scenes of politics and other sights worth seeing which are not part of the development measure are also included. |
