MEMBERSHIP

Every urban centre with a population of over one million or capital city can become full member of Metropolis. Associate members can be legal entities as planning institutes, research centres or important enterprises. For the time being, Metropolis represents about 84 member cities and 40 associated members.

An honorary membership can be conferred on individuals, who made a major contribution to the affairs of the network or are internationally renowned.
